United Methodist Women provide weekday opportunities for service, education and fellowship. UMW conferences and events offer many opportunities to "Think globally, act locally."
With donations from BFUMC and 22 other Bellevue faith communities, every summer the Congregations for Kids Good Start Back to School Project provides school supplies for needy children in Bellevue.
Crossroads Feeding Program. On the fourth Monday of each month, a group from our church prepares a meal and serves it at 6pm at the Salvation Army Center on 164th Ave NE in the Crossroads area of Bellevue.
On the third Sunday of each month, we collect funds for the Emergency Feeding Program.
The Women's Service Group meets at church the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 10 AM to sew layettes for newborns.
The Rummage Sale This year is April 27 and 28. 100% of our Rummage Sale proceeds benefit Outreach Ministries: Habitat for Humanity, Heifer International, Tent City 4, Emergency Feeding, Crossroads Meals, Church of Mary Magdalene to name a few.
Bag Ladies sew school bags for UMCOR school bag kits.
Habitat For Humanity sign up to work on ongoing housing projects in the community.
Tent City 4 Needed items and meals are delivered to Tent City 4.
Church of Mary Magdalene Needed items and food are collected for the Church of Mary Magdalene.
Beanies for Troops Stocking caps are made and sent to our troops.
