The Book Discussion group meets at the church on the third Monday at 7:15 PM.
The Celebration
Singers rehearse Monday evenings at 7:15 PM, and sing once a month
at the 8:30 AM service from September to June. The Chancel Choir
rehearses Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM,
and sings every Sunday at the 11:00 AM service from September to
June. Both choirs perform in the biannual concerts.
Clara Swain and Isabella Thoburn Circles of the United Methodist Women provide weekday opportunities for service, education and fellowship. UMW conferences and events offer many opportunities to "Think globally, act locally."
With donations from BFUMC and 22 other Bellevue faith communities, every summer the Congregations for Kids Good Start Back to School project provides school supplies for needy children in Bellevue.
On the fourth Monday of each month, a group from our church prepares a meal and serves it at 6pm at the Salvation Army Center on 164th Ave NE in the Crossroads area of Bellevue.
On the third Sunday of each month, we collect funds for the Emergency Feeding Program, and on the third Friday, we help pack bags of food. Meet at the church at 9:30 AM; we return by noon.
A Men's Bible Study meets at church the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM.
Soul Survivors,
a group for everyone whose life is impacted by mental illness,
meets at church the third Tuesday of each month at 7 PM.
Every Wednesday
morning the Wednesday Wonder Workers keep our church grounds and buildings
in beautiful shape, and a Women's Bible Study meets from 10 AM to noon
(except the second Wednesday of the month).
The Women's
Service Group meets at church the second and fourth Mondays of each month
at 10 AM to sew layettes for newborns.
