Nursery
Infants and toddlers are important members of our faith community! Gretchen Frey, our professional Child Care Attendent, strives to provide a safe place where young children experience God's love and parents can be freed to attend worship. The youngest members of our church family enjoy a wonderful nursery space on the lower level near the elevators.
We want children to have a positive experience in the nursery, so provide plenty of loving care, age-appropriate toys, and a stimulating atmosphere. If your child is unconsolable one of the nursery workers will come upstairs to notify you.
We follow a well child policy in the nursery. If your child shows signs of illness (even a common cold) we ask that you do not leave him or her in the nursery. We sterilize all toys after use and follow all guidelines to insure a safe and healthy experience while in our care.
While we invite parents to use the nursery during worship it is not a requirement here at FUMC Bellevue. Please feel free to keep your young ones with you during worship if you so prefer. We have activity bags with coloring crayons in the back of the large sanctuary. For younger children feel free to bring a snack or a toy to help them pass the time.
